You gotta feel a bit for skunks. Imagine if everyone you met just turned and ran because they thought you smelled bad. Brutal.
In addition, as babies they’re born blind and deaf and don’t open their eyes for three weeks. They tend to stick with their mothers for the first year. But even as they mature, their eyesight remains poor, which might explain why they’re ready to spray you at a moment’s notice — there’s no way for them to know if you’re a threat or not. They’re basically like Mr. Magoo!
Like most animals, they also have a unique name we’ve decided to call them when they’re babies. What do you call a baby skunk?

The answer is: Kit. Not only are baby skunks called kits, but they are extremely adorable. Seriously, Bambi does not do it justice. Source
