Man, it would be so cool to be Dr. Indiana Jones. The dude has a tenured job, all the girls love him, and he gets to travel the world having adventures — plus, the whip makes for an amazing party trick.
He's survived a lot of things, and as the years go by, turns out there's always some new adventure we didn't even know about. Like, an almost endless stream of them that are remembered one by one at certain intervals. Neat!
Between the scars and romances and artifacts, there is but one thing that Indy has ever seemed to shudder at. What animal gives Indiana Jones the heebie-jeebies?

The answer is: Snakes. We all have something we’re afraid of, even part-time professor/part-time adventurer and full-time Nazi puncher Indiana Jones. Unfortunately for him, his globetrotting escapades lead him into plenty of snake-filled environments more often than you’d think. To be fair, snakes are a totally legit animal to be scared of, and it isn’t like he’s shrieking at the sign of a little garden snake. He’s getting tossed into LITERAL PITS OF GIANT SNAKES. Even if you weren’t afraid of snakes, going through that sure as hell would develop a phobia. In The Last Crusade, we learn that he developed his fear as a youth after falling into a crate of them while trying to defend the Cross of Coronado aboard a circus train.Source
