When Frank Sinatra recorded "Love and Marriage" in 1955, he probably never imagined how his swinging celebration of matrimony would find new life decades later. The Emmy-winning tune went from concert halls to living rooms as one of TV's most memorable theme songs. But which show made it their own?

Reveal answer and learn more:

The answer is: "Married... with Children"

The Fox executives who greenlit "Married... with Children" made a lot of questionable decisions in the network's early days, but pairing Sinatra's "Love and Marriage" with America's most romantically challenged family wasn't one of them. The song, written by Jimmy Van Heusen and Sammy Cahn for a 1955 NBC episode of "Our Town," had both an Emmy and Sinatra's signature swagger. But it really had its moment three decades later.

There's a special joy in hearing Sinatra, the epitome of mid-century sophistication, croon about marriage's sanctity while Al Bundy attempts to recreate his four-touchdown high school glory from the comfort of his couch, one hand eternally down his pants. Meanwhile, Peg's architectural hair defied gravity as thoroughly as her spending habits defied mathematics.

Over the years, various networks and streaming services have wrestled with the Sinatra estate over licensing rights. The song has disappeared and reappeared, been replaced and restored, with each substitute version landing about as well as Peg's cooking. It turns out replacing Sinatra is about as successful as the Bundys' attempts at upward mobility - technically possible, but why would you want to?
