What’s the name of the planet in The Dark Crystal?

Jim Henson had a restless mind. When he found huge success with The Muppet Show, it didn’t get canceled for sagging ratings — Henson just decided he had finished that idea and it was simply time to move on.
So he moved on to movies, creating something that was so strange and mysterious that nobody understood it at first (even after multiple rewrites to make it less weird). The Dark Crystal came out in 1982, and I don’t care how many times some arthouse theater reshows it, it has never received its fair due.
I guess maybe the fact that it covers fun topics like genocide and features villains that look like something out of a nightmare didn’t sit right with audiences who figured they were in for a longer version of Sesame Street.
The vision for this movie is stunningly complete. I want to find the old sets and move in so I can explore this terrifying yet beautiful world. What’s the name of the planet where The Dark Crystal takes place?

Correct Answer: Thra
The answer is: Thra. The stunning fantasy landscape that only Jim Henson’s mind could dream up is the backdrop for the planet of Thra, whose very essence is being stolen by those pesky Skeksis. Source
