The answer is: T2. 1992's Terminator 2: Judgment Day won an impressive four Academy Awards out of six nominations, including Best Makeup, Best Sound, Best Sound Effects Editing, and Best Visual Effects — despite the first film, 1984's The Terminator, receiving no nominations.
