That infamous "I'll have what she's having" from "When Harry Met Sally" made film history and turned a Manhattan deli into an instant tourist destination. Visitors still request to sit at "the" table where Meg Ryan faked her memorable moment. Which historic New York City delicatessen played host to this iconic scene?

The answer is: Katz's Delicatessen
Katz's Delicatessen on Manhattan's Lower East Side became forever linked with romantic comedy history when director Rob Reiner chose it as the location for one of film's most quoted scenes. The 1989 moment showed Meg Ryan demonstrating to a skeptical Billy Crystal, right there in the middle of lunch, just how easily women can fake orgasms.
The scene took multiple takes to film, with Ryan initially feeling shy about performing it. Reiner jumped in to demonstrate exactly what he wanted, enthusiastically acting out the scene himself right there in the deli. This apparently broke the ice, as Ryan went on to deliver a performance that had the entire restaurant crew struggling not to laugh.
The famous punchline came from Reiner's mother Estelle, who delivered the immortal "I'll have what she's having" as an elderly diner watching the scene unfold. The table where the scene was filmed now has a sign hanging above it reading "Where Harry met Sally... hope you have what she had!" Katz's, which opened in 1888, embraced its role in cinema history and continues to serve up massive pastrami sandwiches to fans recreating the moment. Most people keep their enthusiasm focused on the food, though.
