Taking the name "Superman" has to be one of the boldest hero moves of all time. You have to be pretty damn confident in yourself to look around at other men and decide you are not just way better than them, but SUPER better.
But hey, time and time again, he's proven that he deserves the name. Mostly by wearing red underwear over blue tights. I mean, you're probably pretty strong if you're going to just show up in public in that outfit. And just in case anyone might forget who you are, you put a big ol' S right on your shirt as a reminder.
