The 1990s were the last great golden age of TV sitcoms. Sure, you have a handful of great shows that popped up in the aughts, but then streaming came along and since about 2015 most people are still just trying to figure out what to watch (and where you can watch it).

Come at me all you want, but the list of great sitcoms that aired primarily in the ‘90s — not to mention the sheer number of them — is kind of mindblowing. Oh sure, we can give you a sample: Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Home Improvement, Full House, Step by Step, 3rd Rock From the Sun, NewsRadio, The Nanny — hell, they even took a flyer on a sitcom that literally featured animatronic dinosaurs (aptly titled, Dinosaurs).

And all this, my friends, is barely scratching the surface.

But back in those days, even when nearly any pilot would seemingly get greenlit, sitcoms had to scrap for every single viewer. There were more than a few who proverbially jumped the shark only to never see another episode.

You can always tell when a show’s producers aren’t sure whether they’ll be getting renewed, because suddenly all the storylines that have been teased for years start to come together. In the case of this ‘90s sitcom, they went as far as to air three potential finales before things came to an end for good. Which show was it?
