“I Want My Baby Back” was the jingle for which restaurant chain?

Today's trivia question is brought to you by yesterday's national holiday. While I was searching for photos of barbecue, I found myself repeatedly singing "I want my baby back, baby back, baby back." I'm a sucker for both earworms and ribs, but I had to remind myself which chain came up with it (because I might need a reservation). Which restaurant chain used the "I Want My Baby Back" jingle?

Correct Answer: Chili's
(Source)"I Want My Baby Back" has been sung by Fat Bastard, NSYNC, Steve Carell, and Boyz II Men (in roughly that order of dignity). I also rewatched "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me," where Fat Bastard sings it about wanting to eat Mini-Me, and that's probably how the jingle even reentered my brain. Copywriter Guy Bommarito banged out "I Want My Baby Back" for Chili's back in 1995 in five minutes. His biggest fear was being remembered as the ribs jingle guy. Sorry to tell him, but he's definitely going to be remembered as the ribs jingle guy.
