
Every now and then I feel bad for really tall people.
They can always expect at least two questions: 1. How's the weather up there? and 2. Do you play basketball?
I highly doubt really short people ever get asked either of those questions, especially the one about basketball. There's no question pretty much anyone under 6-foot-5 looks like a child when they're on the court with the world's best players, but looks can be deceiving — anyone who remembers Spud Webb throwing down dunks in the '80s knows what I'm talking about.
In fairness, when you have dudes like Manut Bol walking around at 7' 7", the contrast can be stark. Yet that hasn't stopped a good amount of shorties from making their mark on the hardwood.
