A very happy International Community Association Managers Day to all the Community Association Managers out there. It’s one thing to have a community association, but it really doesn’t work if there’s not someone there to manage it — and that’s true on a global scale … apparently.

In 1986, Rodney Dangerfield went Back to School. Somehow author Kurt Vonnegut makes a cameo, as does the band Oingo Boingo.
And in 1997, Disney’s animated Hercules hit theaters.

In 1993 Yokozuna upset Hulk Hogan to win the WWF Championship during King of the Ring.
V.
On this day in 1988, Paula Abdul released her debut album, Forever Your Girl. It had four no. 1 hits: “Straight Up,” the title track, “Cold Hearted” and the cartoon-live-action mash-up “Opposites Attract.”
