What is it called when you open wine with a blade?

There are some serious wine freaks out there that I’m convinced are playing a prank on everyone else. I mean, come on, you can’t seriously think you can somehow train your taste buds to determine what the weather was like the day the grapes were picked. 

Wine culture as a whole is way too snobby for what it is. You’re just getting drunk like the rest of us, so stop being so stuck up about it! You can have your fancy glasses and swirl it around, but don’t think that makes you better than me just because I drink it straight from the box.

The one thing I have to admit is that opening a bottle of wine with a freaking sword is badass. You don’t see it much anymore, probably because swords are banned in so many places for some reason, but if you do you should know what to call it.
